The admission test, for the Academic year 2020/2021, to acced the First and Second cycle degree programmes, directly intended to the forming of architect – Architecture, Building Engineering- Architecture – is drawn up by each University, as stated in the Ministerial Decree.

Some of the Italian universities have involved CISIA in order to organize and release the admission test for the Architecture, Building Engineering- Architecture degree courses named Arched test.

Providing dates for the ARCHED TEST are:

Wednesday, Sept 2nd, 2020
(On this day, ARCHED Test will be held both in Italian and in English at the Politecnico in Milano)

Tuesday, Sept 8th, 2020

Wednesday, Sept 16th, 2020

The test could be held following either the home procedure (TEST@HOME) – at the students’s home- or at the university (at the moment, only Pisa University is adopting this procedure). Each university can choose their own procedure, as also stated in their admission notice.

How to book an ARCHED TEST

If you want to enroll on an Architecture, Building Engineering- Architecture degree courses, we suggest you consult your University web site to get and learn the correct admission procedure and the required admission test.
If the university you are interested to enrol at requires an ARCHED TEST, consult the date list page and check:

  • On what day you need to take the test
  • What procedure is scheduled: at home (TEST@HOME) or at the university (only Pisa University is adopting it)
  • Booking dealines

You must take (book) the ARCHED test at the same university you want to enrol at
. If you are interested in more than one, you can take (book) the test in each of them but pay attention not to book it on the same day.

For example:
• If you are interested in University A and University B and they provide you with ARCHED TEST (occurring) in different dates, then you could and should book for both an ARCHED TEST for University A and for an ARCHED TEST for University B
• If you are interested in University A and University B but they provide you with an ARCHED TEST (occurring) in the same date, then you have to choose for one of these universities.

You could use the result obtained in the ARCHED TEST only to enroll at the university in which you took the test.
